ABOUT ME
Wherever you are on your parenthood journey, I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Alex Wallace. I’m a Southern Indiana native, who has lived in Louisville for over a decade.
After the birth of my youngest son I was surrounded by family who supported me as much as they could and yet I still found myself struggling with feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, and postpartum anxiety. I started thinking — if I’m feeling this way, how do parents with no family support get through the newborn days? And then I discovered the role of the postpartum doula and thus began my journey.
Becoming a postpartum doula felt like a natural calling. With a heart for nurturing and a deep respect for each family’s unique journey, I offer compassionate, hands-on-care that brings confidence, calm, and connection into the home.
When I’m not supporting families, you can find me outside adventuring with my husband and our two sons — we love picnics in the park, traveling, and camping at Red River Gorge. My favorite thing at the end of the day is getting in bed, turning on my heating pad, and settling in with a good book (fantasy is my favorite genre right now). I also love puzzles and making sourdough — basically any activity that makes me sound like a total grandma :)
I am honored that I get to walk alongside families, holding space and providing all the support they deserve as they welcome their new baby into the world and adjust to this new chapter.
I know first hand that it can be really hard to ask for help, but that’s what I’m here for.
